STEVIE G                       Rap artist, writer and producer Steven Garner is a rapidly rising up and comer on the hip hop scene.  He is known to many in San Diego as the “hardest working unsigned artist in Southern California.”  Poised and ready to erupt into true star status, rap artist Stevie G has gained notoriety by performing to standing room only crowds at San Diego High Schools and at venues like 4th & B in San Diego, and the Aura Club in Los Angeles.

Since the release of his self-produced CD, “Ghetto Games,” Stevie G is one of the most talked about local acts in the region. “Ghetto Games” is leaving strong impressions on hip hop fans throughout the country, with songs like “Carolina Blue” for the Hoopers and “Sticky Green” for the true Ballers and “Chocolate Girl” as a tribute to the Ladies.  For all the Latin fans of hip hop, Stevie G will be releasing the song “Hola” as part of his next project.  Stevie G’s recordings frequently feature the poised, melodic and rhythmic voice of Charles Anthony Aitch, who has been performing and putting down tracks with Stevie G and wants “to create an album that fans want to listen to all the way through.”

Performing, writing and recording rap music since the age of sixteen, Stevie G has always striven to put out music that will pack the house.  His music captivates a diverse audience, of all ages and races. Stevie G says he wants to show emotion and creativity in his music.  “I want fans to leave saying ‘I love it, it’s hot, I can relate, it’s real,’” he says.

Stevie G was born on the wild, west side of Chicago, where he discovered his love for basketball and music.  He then relocated to Chicago’s south side. Standing six feet, seven inches tall, Stevie G has a powerful physical presence as a performer and an athlete – he became a Chicago basketball street legend and still possesses a professional level of skills to this day. Though he was offered several full basketball and academic scholarships, Stevie G decided to serve his country with the U.S. Marine Corps, and served during several deployments to the Middle East.

Stevie G displays dynamic rap style, an awesome physical stature and has been described by industry execs as a “package artist.”
